New to our fleet this year is our brand new Alonsea 560 Electric launch ‘Bolt’. She is 6m length and seats up to 6 passengers and provides a more environmentally friendly way to enjoy the river. Day Hire is from 10am – 5pm or Henley Royal Regatta day hire is 10am – 6pm

As well as helping reduce emissions, our electric launches are also quieter than diesel or petrol vessels, further minimising their impact on the immediate environment.

A relaxing and fun way to cruise the Thames, it’s unsurprising that these boats get booked up so quickly.

Duration of Day Hire: 10am - 5pm.
You must return the boat by 5pm, unless during Henley Regatta, where you must return by 6pm.

  • Does this boat have soft cushions?

    The electric launches come with nice soft cushions.

  • Can these boats go through the locks?

    Yes they can.

  • How long does the battery charge last on this boat?

    These electric launches can easily last a full day’s hire with an average life of up to 9 Hours running time.

  • Do you provide buoyancy aids with the hire and are they included in the price?

    Yes, all customers have access to buoyancy aids before their departure. A staff member will show you where to access these before you head off. Buoyancy aids are included in the price of the hire of the boat.

  • Can I bring all my own food and drink onboard?

    Yes of course! We just ask you remove your rubbish at the end of the hire. bins are provided back at the boatyard.

  • How much is the security deposit for an Electric class launch?

    A £250 security deposit is required before departure. This is refunded if the boat is back by 5pm, returned clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. The deposit is non-refundable if a rope is left in the water and gets caught around the propeller, or for gross negligence resulting in an accident.
