Olympic Rowers Row Past Cruise

Henley-on-Thames is gearing up for a spectacular celebration as the town prepares to welcome home its Olympic rowing champions with a grand “Heroes Return” parade on Saturday, 21st September. The event starts off on the river where you can have the exciting opportunity to watch some of our Olympic rowers row past whilst cruising aboard the ‘Hibernia’, we will follow the Olympians as they row up and down the famous stretch of the River Thames.

The rowers will depart from Leander Club, rowing under Henley Bridge, around the island, and back. It’s a rare chance to witness these elite athletes up close with one of the best seats in the house, showcasing their skills in the very town where many of their rowing careers began.
