The Henley Jazz Festival Presents – New Orleans Jazz Cruise Feat. Enrico Tomasso
We are excited to be involved in Henley’s first Jazz Festival and as part of the Festival we present legendary trumpeter Enrico Tomasso and his band aboard the glorious ‘New Orleans’ paddle steamer in Henley-On-Thames. Enjoy a delightful afternoon cruise with drinks along the river Thames. As a former protegé of Louis Armstong himself, Enrico Tomasso presents a deeply personal tribute to his idol and mentor. Five-time winner of the British Jazz Award for best trumpeter, Enrico was just 7 years old in 1968 when he met Louis Armstrong. The two became firm friends until Armstrong’s passing in 1971 with Enrico being the benificiary of encouragement and advice from the great man that he carries with him into his captivating shows to this day.
