The Henley Jazz Festival Presents – New Orleans Jazz cruise Feat. Adrian Cox Quartet

We are so excited to be a part of Henley’s first ever Jazz Festival this year so we hope you can join us for an afternoon ‘Riverboat Shuffle’ featuring the Adrian Cox Quartet. Enjoy the infectious energy of clarinettist Adrian Cox and his musicians aboard our Mississippi-style paddle steamer ‘The New Orleans’. As you sail the tranquil charm of the River Thames; enjoy a drink and the glorious view whilst listening to the authentic sounds of New Orleans Jazz pioneered by legends such as King Oliver, Jelly Roll Morton and Sidney Bechet. Originally from Sussex and now resident in Sweden, Adrian Cox tours the world as THE leading exponent of a clarinet style rooted in the rhythms of New Orleans.

There is a cash bar available on board for the purchase of drinks.

All trips are subject to river conditions and our standard general conditions of hire.

Supporting Riverside Counselling Service

We’re proud that Riverside Counselling Service is the official charity partner of the Henley Jazz Festival 2026.

A Riverside volunteer will be on board during this cruise to share information about the charity’s vital work supporting local people with their mental health. If you’d like to help, there will be a collection bucket on board, with all donations going towards Riverside’s counselling services.
