‘Aquavir’ is no different, with practical features such as elegantly upholstered seating for up to 12 guests and a convertible roof which can offer half or no coverage with the boat in operation.

Complete with a music system, fridge, swim deck and ladder, ‘Aquavir’ is the perfect choice for long, lazy days exploring the Thames.

Please note: You must return the boat by 17:00 ...unless during Henley Regatta and then 18:00.

  • What makes Hobbs’ Antaris launches special?

    At Hobbs, all our Antaris class launches are fully convertible, making them perfect for the temperamental British weather. With elegantly upholstered padded seating, the Antaris class is a stylish way to explore the Thames.

  • Is there a security deposit required for this boat?

    A £250 security deposit is required before departure. This is refunded if the boat is back by 5pm, returned clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. The deposit is non-refundable if a rope is left in the water and gets caught around the propeller, or for gross negligence resulting in an accident.

  • Why can’t I book an hour’s hire online?

    We can only take advance bookings for a whole day hire online. To book an Antaris class launch by the hour please visit the Hobbs boatyard.

  • Is Aquavir available for skippered hire?

    Absolutely! You can hire Aquavir with a skipper for up to 12 guests. You are welcome to book by both the hour and the day.

  • Do you provide buoyancy aids with the hire and are they included in the price?

    Yes, all customers have access to buoyancy aids before their departure. A staff member will show you where to access these before you head off. Buoyancy aids are included in the price of the hire of the boat.

  • Can I bring all my own food and drink onboard?

    Yes of course! We just ask you remove your rubbish at the end of the hire, bins are provided back at the boatyard.
