Antaris class launches are a familiar sight on the Thames and for very good reason. A supremely elegant vessel, Antaris launches offer a stylish and comfortable way to enjoy all the Thames has to offer.

The ‘570’ is a prime example of the class, and with seating for up to 6 guests it is small enough for complete beginners to feel comfortable steering. The vessel is replete with a music system and can be hired with a skipper too.

Please note: You must return the boat by 17:00 ...unless during Henley Regatta and then 18:00.

  • Is there a table onboard?

    The Antaris ‘570’ has a small table in the centre of the boat.

  • Is there a security deposit required for this boat?

    A £250 security deposit is required before departure. This is refunded if the boat is back by 5pm, returned clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. The deposit is non-refundable if a rope is left in the water and gets caught around the propeller, or for gross negligence resulting in an accident.

  • Do you provide buoyancy aids with the hire and are they included in price?

    Yes, all customers have access to buoyancy aids before their departure. A staff member will show you where to access these before you head off. Buoyancy aids are included in the price of the hire of the boat.

  • Why can’t I book an hour’s hire online?

    We can only take advance bookings for a whole day hire online. To book an Antaris class launch by the hour please visit the Hobbs boatyard.

  • Is the Antaris class ‘570’ launch available for skippered hire?

    Absolutely! You can hire an Antaris class ‘570’ launch with a skipper for up to 5 guests. You are welcome to book by both the hour and the day.
