Introducing ‘Romer’, an Antaris 630 which was new to our fleet in 2022. ‘Romer’ is a stylish and comfortable boat, perfect for cruising the Thames. Uniquely, ‘Romer’ features a sun canopy which covers the whole boat, adding a special touch to the already stunning looks of the Antaris class.

With seating for up to 8 people, ‘Romer’ can cruise with her sides fully open or closed, making her a comfortable way to enjoy the Thames. Book a Hobbs hamper, afternoon tea or stop off at a riverside pub or restaurant to make your trip even more memorable.

Please note: You must return the boat by 17:00 ...unless during Henley Regatta and then 18:00.

  • Is there a table onboard?

    The Antaris 630 has two small tables in the centre of the boat.

  • Is there a security deposit required for this boat?

    A £250 security deposit is required before departure. This is refunded if the boat is back by 5pm, returned clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. The deposit is non-refundable if a rope is left in the water and gets caught around the propeller, or for gross negligence resulting in an accident.

  • Do you provide buoyancy aids with the hire and are they included in the price?

    Yes, all customers have access to buoyancy aids before their departure. A staff member will show you where to access these before you head off. Buoyancy aids are included in the price of the hire of the boat.

  • Why can’t I book an hour’s hire online?

    We can only take advance bookings for a whole day hire online. To book an Antaris class launch by the hour please visit the Hobbs boatyard.

  • Is the Antaris class 630 launch available for skippered hire?

    Absolutely! You can hire an Antaris class 630 launch with a skipper for up to 8 guests. You are welcome to book by both the hour and the day.
