Turn heads and impress your guests by hiring an Olympic class launch. With comfortable seating for up to 12 people, our Olympic launches are the favoured choice of discerning corporate clients looking to entertain their guests in exquisite style.

Offering the perfect way to enjoy Henley Royal Regatta and Henley Festival, customers with fewer than 10 guests can also book the Olympic class launches with a skipper. To complete the perfect day on the Thames, we can arrange a sumptuous lunch, afternoon tea or picnic hampers.

Please note: You must return the boat by 17:00 ...unless during Henley Regatta and then 18:00.

  • Is there a table onboard?

    You can remove the middle section of the cushions in the centre of the boat allowing you to use this area as a table.

  • Can I hire this boat with a skipper?

    Yes, the Olympic launches can be provided with a skipper, please visit the skippered hire page to book.

  • Do you provide buoyancy aids with the hire and are they included in the price?

    Yes, all customers have access to buoyancy aids before their departure. A staff member will show you where to access these before you head off. Buoyancy aids are included in the price of the hire of the boat.

  • Can I bring all my own food and drink onboard?

    Yes, of course! We just ask you remove your rubbish at the end of the hire, bins are provided back at the boatyard.

  • Why can’t I book an hour’s hire online?

    We can only take advance bookings for a whole day hire online. To hire an Olympic class launch by the hour please visit the Hobbs boatyard. Boats are available on a first come, first served basis.

  • Is there a security deposit for this boat?

    A £250 security deposit is required before departure. This is refunded if the boat is back by 5pm, returned clean and tidy with all rubbish removed. The deposit is non-refundable if a rope is left in the water and gets caught around the propeller, or for gross negligence resulting in an accident.
